Gedik Art
Gedik Art, which continues its activities within Istanbul Gedik University, was established to support the society in the field of culture and arts.
Supporting the contemporary and original productions of our country's artists, Gedik Arts aims to develop the creativity of Istanbul Gedik University students. With Gedik Philharmonic Orchestra concerts, digital art projects, piano festivals, workshops organized with Istanbul Gedik University student clubs, we act with the awareness of making our students feel the impact of art and raising a future that looks at life with a different vision as well as an academic approach. Together with Gedik Philharmonic Orchestra Music Director, Conductor Cem Mansur, we enable our students to examine the communication of the dynamics in life with music. We enable our students and staff to attend Gedik Philharmonic Orchestra Concerts free of charge, allowing them to recognize world-famous works and discover the values of our country.
Our primary goal is to contribute to the realization of artistic productions and dreams on the plane of real life, to give these creations a literary and philosophical dimension with the help of associative elements, and to contribute to the ideal of creating a conscious future that can think analytically. We are taking firm steps on the inspiring path of art.
