Vala Gedik Awards
The great importance that our founder Halil Kaya Gedik and his wife Vala Gedik attach to education and social responsibility is one of the fundamental elements that shape the mission of our foundation. One of the primary goals of our foundation is the education of individuals with special needs and their gaining a stronger place in social life.
Since 2015, the Vala Gedik Awards, organized in memory of Vala Gedik, a community volunteer who adopted the principle of providing useful services to our country, are given to individuals with special needs who have shown outstanding achievement and to individuals, institutions and organizations that make a difference in the field of social responsibility by improving the lives of individuals with special needs in the fields of education, health, social, cultural and sports that they need to develop their potential.
The Vala Gedik Awards aim to raise social awareness and celebrate achievements that overcome obstacles, while also drawing attention to the importance of social responsibility projects.
Our Foundation continues to keep Vala Gedik's inspiring vision alive and carry her legacy into the future, taking all necessary steps to ensure that individuals with special needs gain a stronger place in social life.
