The applications submitted by students from various universities across Turkey for the 1st Welded Metal Sculpture Competition organized by the Gedik Education Foundation were carefully evaluated by the jury.
As a result of the preliminary selection, the finalist students who qualified to participate in the artwork production process were determined.
The finalists will produce their works using metal welding techniques in line with the theme of “Unity”; the completed works will meet art lovers at the exhibition to be opened on December 19, 2025, at Istanbul Gedik University Halil Kaya Gedik Campus.
The award-winning works will be announced and the awards will be presented at the Award Ceremony to be held on the same day.
Competition Schedule
• Artwork Production Period: September 12 – November 17, 2025
• Artwork Submission: November 17 – 28, 2025
• Exhibition Opening and Awards Ceremony: December 19, 2025, Istanbul Gedik University Halil Kaya Gedik Campus
