The Gedik Education Foundation brought together women who add value to society and inspire others at its “Transforming Women Awards Ceremony” held on March 8, International Women's Day.
At the ceremony held at The St. Regis Istanbul on March 6, women who stood out for their achievements in various fields were honored, and stories of courage, productivity, and social transformation took center stage.
The sunflower-shaped awards presented during the evening were specially produced by female welders trained by the Gedik Education Foundation.
In addition, the “Inspiration Notebook,” compiled from interviews with the award-winning women and edited by Hande Demirel, was presented to participants as a gift to inspire young girls and women.
The Transforming Women Awards Ceremony left a lasting impression as a meaningful gathering that highlighted women's labor and powerful stories that transform society.
